Santa!

On Sunday, our friend Kathy invited us over to have a christmas party with some of our buddies. Santa showed up and took pictures with the kids and even read them a story! We sure did have fun. We also got some great pictures.

Triplets!

On Saturday we had our Christmas dinner with my family. Even though Mason did not take a nap all day, he had so much fun playing with his cousins! It is so fun to see them grow up together.

Christmas Lights

The other night Mason and I went to go see some fancy christmas lights with my family. Some of the houses were amazing! The man who owns this house builds this whole city in miniatures in his garage. He starts in October and has been doing it since 1982!
We drove around for awhile looking at some of the other houses. Mason had a blast pointing and saying,"That!" at all of the houses.

Seal Beach X-mas Parade

The other night after I got out of class, we went to hang with the Carr family in Seal Beach. We went to the parade with them last year when Mason was just a few weeks old. We had so much fun this time. Mason and Chloe were dancing in the street to the passing drummers. I wish I had gotten pictures of them. So much fun!

Black Friday

We had spent all day in our house on Thanksgiving so Mason and I decided to venture out. What better place to go than the mall on Black Friday! Good thing Nana was getting off work early. She met us at South Coast Plaza and we spent the day wandering with all of the other crazy people. We took a few pictures of our adventure. Oh yeah and we saw Santa! Mason is not a fan :-( he was much more interested in the decorations.

One Year Ago

In honor of my little man turning 1 year old, I thought we could flashback to the day we came home from the hospital with our tiny guy. I cannot believe how he has grown and changed in such a short amount of time. I am so excited for the next year of amazing milestones!

Happiest Place on Earth

We went to Disneyland with a few of our friends the other day. It has been a while for us due to us being under the weather. We went on our usual rides( Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Pooh) but Mason decided that the first two were absolutely terrifying!!! He screamed and clawed, and his poor little heart was racing! After this adventure we had lunch and decided to try the line for Nemo. To my surprise it was only about 20 minutes. This would be our first time. Mason fell asleep and I had to carry him into the submarine. As soon as we were packed in like sardines, he woke up. He loved watching the fish and the bubbles. Then we turned the corner and our sardine can went dark! Mason went crazy! Screaming, clawing, even bitting me!!!! Boy we sure love Disneyland :-) Who knew the "Happiest Place on Earth" could be SO scary?Maybe this means we need to go more often.

Best seat in the house

Every Wednesday Maddie comes and spends the afternoon with Mason and I while Jill tutors. We always have SO much fun. Maddie found Mason's old bath seat in the bathroom and decided it would make a fabulous Teletubbies viewing chair! After 5 minutes of adjusting to get her little legs in the correct spot, Mason would try to push her out to get his turn. We like to share! LOL. As soon as he got his turn, he wanted out!

Captain Hook walks the plank!

Mason has chosen Halloween to be the day to start walking. He has been walking all over the house. He is still a little slow and wobbly but walking nonetheless. What an exciting 1st Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch Weekend

Wow! What a weekend! On Saturday, Ryan's daughter Morgan came out from Vegas to spend the day with us. We went to the pumpkin patch in LB. Mason had had his first pony ride which as you can see in the picture was not his idea of fun :-( but its still a cute picture. For only $30! we had a whole 40mins of fun! We are always happy to spend time with Morgan.

Later that night, Mason and I went to Nana's for a Spooky Halloween dinner where Mason got to debut his Captain Hook costume! We ate some yummy food and played
with his cousins.

On Sunday we decided to go down to Tanaka Farms' pumpkin patch with Nana so that she could get some good pictures of Mason. We had so much fun! This patch was a lot nicer than the LB one. And we only spent about $10!

After Tanaka Farms we went to the park to feed the ducks and burn off some energy. We had such a fun filled weekend!

Potato Beauty Mask

If anyone is looking for a good beauty treatment, Mason has just the thing for you! Mashed potatoes! It keeps his skin looking fabulous :-) He also likes to put a little in his hair. What do you think keeps his mohawk so stiff? ;-)

oOoOoOo Bubble Mania oOoOoOo

Last week was our final gymnastics class and as a special treat Miss Elise(see polka dot leotard to the right) performed a bubble show for us! Boy was it spectacular!! Mason got to sit in his very own giant bubble. We sure will miss gymnastics :-( Don't worry its starts again in November!

Walking Monkey Man

Mason can WALK!!! But only if you have something shiny like the camera in front of him and only for a few steps but I think he's close!

Climbing is Mason's newest hobby(when he is not chasing shiny objects) :-). Apparently the Incrediblock is much more fun when you sit on top of it.

Favorite Seat & Favorite Buddy

Mason has decided that the drawer full of toys is now the best seat in the house. He loves his Maddie sooo much that he was willing to share it with her!

Spider Swinging

What we are going to do when Maddie and Mason don't fit in the swing together? It just won't be the same :-( Maybe we'll get a bigger swing seat!

Silly Block Head :-)

Immune Booster!

We went to Central Park today with our buddies! After we ate breakfast we went the park. Mason climbed to the top and decided to taste the railing! Yummy!

Ball Pit!!!

Mason could have spent hours in the ball pit at Kayla Bug's birthday party the other day.

Yee-Haw!

We went to two fabulous birthday parties this weekend. Kayla Bug's and Cowboy Billy's. We were totally exhausted but man did we have a blast! Mason got a super sweet cowboy hat and hanky! He could not wait to play cowboy. Apparently neither could our buddy Maddie! I borrowed a picture from her blog :-)

"French" kissing

Mason had his first french kiss today.  His super sweet buddy Julie gave him a kiss today then sat on his lap. As you can see he thoroughly enjoyed it! Oh yeah, she just so happens to be half french which makes it an extra special french kiss!

New Territory

Well, its official! Nothing in my house is safe from the Mace-Monster! Mason has learned how to scale the couch leaving me nowhere to hide. The biggest problem is he has yet to understand the "Edge". He'll learn quick!

Attack of the highlighter!

What better day than today to start a blog! Mason reached a milestone today! His first taste of marker. After a frantic search for the top of the marker, we stopped for a photo to remember this momentous occasion. Its a little hard to see but I think the fluorescent yellow brings out his eyes :-) Thankfully it was only highlighter and not Sharpie!
